The Coeur d'Alene Chapter was chartered in March 1969 as part of the Washington-Alaska division. The officers of the Chapter constitute the Board of Directors. Committees offer the opportunity for members to actively participate in areas that suit their special interests.
The Chapter sponsors the Bosses' Day Breakfast and honors the Boss of the Year (October). A seminar is presented during Administrative Professionals Week for everyone in the community, and one college and one High School scholarship is awarded per year (April) to a deserving student whose chosen area of study is in the administrative professional field. Marilyn Buroker-Vice President
Marilyn has been in the administrative professional field for 20+ years. Her current occupation is a Residential Lender for Mountain West Bank which she feels strongly resulted from her administrative background. Her duties have ranged from the simplest clerical positions to office manager positions. Her hobbies are anything related to the outdoors – hiking, fishing, camping, skiing, etc. She has been an IAAP member since 2003 and is the current chapter Treasurer. She looks forward to serving on the board and being a contributing member to the chapter.
